Skilled Home Care vs. Private Duty Home Care

There are two main groupings of In Home Care Services: skilled care (Medicare) and custodial care (Private Pay). Skilled Care is geared toward short term rehabilitation home care while Private Duty Custodial Care provides such services known as Companion Care which includes help with housekeeping, transportation, shopping, meal preparation or Personal Care, such hands on care including bathing, dressing and feeding. We also provide comprehensive Complex Personal Care, 24 Hour Live-In Caregivers, Hospital Discharge Services, Traveling Caregivers as well as Transportation Support Services for such things as doctor’s appointments, salon visits, hospital discharge assistance and visits with friends.

“I used Caregiving Experts recently to help with my 86yr old mother. She took a fall and hit her head. She stayed in the hospital for a few days then spent a week in rehab. I live about 4hrs away and was informed by the hospital they’d be discharging her with only a day’s notice.
